At Bee, we understand that it’s stressful time for children while being in hospital. We’re determined to create a positive community using our voices and our imaginations.
BEE
Bee is a local social enterprise, located in Manchester. Our primary social objective is to reinvest profit surpluses for the purpose of growing the business and contributing to the wider community, rather than being driven by the need to maximise profits.
Mission
As a company, we are aware that hospitals can be daunting and scary places; we strive to minimise these fears and ensure children experiencing both long and short-term stays feel comfortable and confident.Operating across City centre and Greater Manchester Bee’s wants is to help children throughout the whole of the UK.
Inclusivity
At Bee we provide equal access to opportunities and resources for all children around Manchester. We understand everyone’s living situation is different, therefore we want to make sure all children have equal opportunity for a less nerve-racking experience while in hospital. We do this by providing personalized gowns for free to all children in hospital in and around Manchester.
