Key Partnerships
Registering Bee will showcase social enterprise activity across greater Manchester and connect social enterprises with opportunities to identify and map the eco-system of local support, networking and encourage the development in thematic areas.
For a more support Bee will seek out local and thermotic networks.
These include: Base Community, Manchester Social Economy Alliance, Northern Soul and Manchester Social Entrepreneurs.
Fundraising
Bee will host charity events through community fundraising, corporate fundraising, and individual giving in children’s hospitals around Greater Manchester.
The charities we will align with:
-
Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity provides emotional and practical support to families who have children with life-threatening or terminal illness (Rainbowtrust.org, 2023).
-
Manchester Foundation Trust mission is to support excellence in treatment, care and research provided to patients, working alongside the NHS (MFT, 2023).
-
RMCH exists to enhance the experience of the 280,000 children cared for by Royal Manchester children’s hospital every year (RMCH, 2023).
It will be beneficially for these charities and Bee to work alongside each other as they all embrace the same values, working together will enhance growth and development within the community.
The gowns will be gifted to the children’s hospitals for free. To fulfil this objective, the business will derive funding via our Direct-to-Consumer sales of personalised books and stickers through our ecommerce site, and social media platforms. A percentage of the retail price of the books sold, will go towards funding the gowns. Therefore, these sales will allow us to reinvest into our future.

The profits will be used to grow the company internally allowing Bee to reach out to new hospitals as well as developing new products with our main goal to benefit the community.
Safeguarding lives and livelihoods
Amidst the UK economic crises, Bee has worked to address multiple challenges unfolding in Manchester communities. We are proud to be helping clients in the private, social and public sectors amongst highly complex challenges presented by the UK’s high inflection rate, from donating children’s gowns for free to books which educate children to have a more positive experience while being in hospital.

We plan to provide donations and support to charities supporting children hospitals in Manchester area, working with individuals most affected by the rising infection. Finally, we support our own employees by providing flexible working arrangements and leaves of absence to help colleagues balance their home and work commitments.
